Top 3 Restaurants to Visit in San Juan, Puerto Rico

#1 Bistro Cafe

  • If you are looking for the perfect brunch spot with a great variety of tropical signature drinks and stellar food, this is the place to be!!! El Bistro serves a wide variety of foods, from breakfast to dinner items, all consisting of fresh ingredients. The food was a 10/10, they served larger portions, with aesthetic plating, definitely Instagram worthy, and to top it off they had great customer service. The star of the show would be their signature drinks and mimosas. They had plenty of flavored mimosa and offered ways to customize each drink to one’s liking. Their signature drinks were tropical, with a moderate amount of alcohol, and again you will be getting another Instagram-worthy picture. The only downside to this spot is that it is so good that there seems to always be a long line, but if you call ahead of time, this would be the perfect brunch spot for a group of friends.

#2 O:LV Rooftop- Arya Rooftop

  • This next spot sits on top of the O:LV hotel and provides a rooftop experience that not only has a pool next to it but also has a beautiful view of the Candado skyline and the glimmering lagoon. Along with the beautiful scenery, its cocktail list offers a variety of options. They have a full bar, with great customer service, that will help to create a desired drink. In addition, they have one of the best-tasting alcoholic pina cola that I have ever tried and I have tried a lot. With their great selection of drinks, I thought the food might have a different result, however, the food was great, with their breakfast menu being a 9/10 and their calamari getting a 10/10. This is a place where you can relax and watch the sunset while eating your favorite foods and enjoying a nice drink. It is a win-win!!

#3 Serafina

  • Looking for a place to get fresh seafood and pasta, this should be your next stop. Serafina is a moderately upscaled restaurant, with outdoor seating, and looks beautiful when lit up at night. This place would be perfect for a dinner reservation that involves drinking wine and taking in the atmosphere. The ingredients were fresh and the food had a very clean taste to it. I would rate the food an 8/10 overall, but their chicken penne vodka pasta would rank up to a 9/10. What is great about Serafina is that it is also surrounded by many local shops, where you can stop by to get souvenirs, as well as the best empanadas. This can be a two-for-one special or just a lovely night out!!
